Winner Royal Mail Stamp Competition

Oakfield Academy are delighted to announce that Ted Lewis Clark in Year 6 has won the Royal Mail competition to design a First Class Christmas stamp. His winning entry was selected from thousands of entries by Prince Charles. Both Ted and Oakfield will receive a cheque for £1,000 each, and will be attending an award ceremony later in the year to receive a framed version of the print, from Prince Charles.
This is only the fourth time in the Royal Mail’s 500-year history that children have designed the Christmas Stamps. Ted’s design was also approved by HM The Queen! Ted will also have a special postmark that will feature on stamped mail delivered to addresses nationwide.
