More able provision

We are committed to nurturing and developing the abilities of our more able pupils.

Identification and intervention is initially made by curriculum leaders, with those pupils being provided with the differentiated work in class that will enable growth in that specific subject area. In and out lessons, these More Able pupils are challenged both creatively and academically in augmenting their learning, growing in confidence and ability.'

Our G&T guitar students and choir members were lucky enough to participate in 2 workshops with international blues musician Eddie Martin. They learnt how to play a ‘Train Blues’  along with an accompaniment on slide guitar. The results were enjoyed at our annual Blues & Beyond 2015.
