Computing at Oakfield aims to develop skills in multimedia, coding and programming and data
handling while also developing our pupils to be responsible online citizens.
Our Specialist Computing Team: Mr Adam Reynolds (Head of Computing), Nick Ward, Emma Thomas, Mike Uren and Catrin Cross
Computing is used to enhance learning across the curriculum at Oakfield.
To this purpose we have two computing suites, an ipads library and wifi in our main building. Pupils can also book further computing time to safely research and learn in our fully equipped library, the Enrichment Centre (EC.)
Our more able pupils are invited to take part in the Lego Robotics competition as well as challenges throughout all year groups to stretch and enable their computing skills through various competitions.
