Once again children will be offered a flu vaccination in school, it is expected to commence in Somerset from 8th October 2018. This year the immunisation programme will be delivered by the new dedicated School Aged Immunisation Team for Somerset (SAINT) and this year consent forms will be sent directly to the children's home address at the end of August/start of September. Parents are to complete and return the consent form to us at Oakfield Academy which will then be collected by Somerset SAINT. A letter will be sent to parents in the Autumn term confirming the vaccination date at Oakfield Academy. If parents do not receive a form for their child, they need to contact Somerset SAINT on 0300 323 0032. Please ensure completed forms are returned to the Academy office as soon as possible so that they can be collated by the SAINT team.
