Joseph Dobson and Louis Tozer who were pupils at Oakfield Academy from 2011-2014 recently attended the BAFTA TV Awards in London. They rubbed shoulders with ‘Best Actor’ Sean Bean, stood next to Amanda Holden (Britain’s Got Talent) and saw Dec from Ant and Dec.
Joseph and Louis won their tickets to the award ceremony in the Royal Festival Hall by making a short film about Cyber Bullying. The film was judged by Ronan Keating (Boyzone) and Otto Bathurst (Film Director – Robin Hood) as best in the 16-21 year old category of an ‘All Rise’ International Film Competition.
Joseph and Louis will also attending Twickenham Film Studios in July for work experience as part of their prize, they hope to win a BAFTA in the years to come.
